The 7th annual New Year’s Day tournament had a familiar face holding the winners check and the coveted champions bowl.  Brian LeClair once again found himself in the winners circle as he took home the $2000 top prize.  This is the third year in a row that Brian has won this event.  This time around Brian averaged 219.67 on a demanding lane condition as he won by 24 pins.

This year we had 74 bowlers entered which produced 13 cash positions.  Last to cash got was +6 on the day and received $230.

The tournament format is the same as in the past… 6 games across the house with total wood determining the standings.

Additionally, there are plenty of opportunities to make money in the variety of brackets and side pots.  The side actions is:

  • 16 player Super Bracket(s)

  • Mini sweeper…3 games within the 6 game tournament as it’s own event. Separate entry fee

  • 12 game doubles…2 bowlers combine their 6 game scores for a 12 game total. $50 entry fee per team (100% returned). Bowl with as many partners as you want, just pay the $50 fee for each team.

  • Early Bird entry high game pots. Pay your entry before the deadline and be automatically entered into high game pots for each game. The early bird pots are exclusive to those who beat the deadline. These pots are sponsored by KPA.

Payments can be made by cash, check, credit card, PayPal or Facebook pay.  Please call the bowling center for more details on making payments.
